LOTUS TECHNOLOGIES

LOTUS MACHINES presents two NEW devices Lotus Diplomat and Lotus Tablet (pocket)
The devices presented are concepts that are radically different from all existing devices on the market. The products of the Lotus line were developed taking into account all the wishes and aspirations of consumers who are tired of the current trend of identical faceless boring phones. Below, we will take a consistent and detailed look at all the advantages of the Lotus line of devices over regular phones.

Lotus Diplomat

This is a business-class device for any task. A full-fledged widescreen display and a virtually complete, improved physical keyboard provide undeniable advantages over conventional touchscreen device. If you're interested and tired of the sameold touchscreen device, Then welcome to Team Lotus. Free your dark matter, it's about to get even tougher. Are you ready? Then let's go.!

So,,, let's start in order, from top to botton

display characteristics:
MAIN DISPLEY
-height - 8.3 cM
-width - 10.8 cm
-5:3 inches OLED and IPS - 2K: (2560х1920)
Not all people like OLED screens because of their flickering, I'm one of them. In people with sensitive eyesight, flickering causes redness of the eyes, watery eyes, fatigue, intraocular pressure, irritation, and so on. There is a lot of information and research in the public domain about the harmful effects of an OLED display on eye health. as for the IPS matrix, things are much better here, the IPS matrix does not have those harmful indicators of the OLED display listed above. Therefore, the devices of the LOTUS line provide for the installation of two types of main displays. this allows the user to select the desired matrix.

Let's take a look at how the Lotus Diplomat display shows information in various work scenarios, from reading text to mobile games.

With the Lotus Diplomat display, you can open pages on the Internet in PC mode. In Wikipedia, a pop-up window is available on the same screen. You will not be redirected to another page when you select to view images or links. this is shown on the screen rendering, everything is the same as on the large PC screen. in the settings of the main menu, a pointer arrow (cursor) will be available. Arrow control is provided by a 4-position frame key under the main display. We will describe the menu navigation block in more detail below.

Browsing websites, reading books, as well as any information on a PC on a mobile device gives an incredible experience of immersion in the moment. LOTUS DIPLOMAT gives you this opportunity. All you have to do is adjust the text size to your preferences.

I have given just a few examples of what kind of image you will see when reading. more examples can be given, but the overall picture is clear. These are the advantages of a true full-fledged widescreen display. below I will give more examples of working in other Lotus Diplomat phone applications.

Viewing maps (navigation)

maps, navigation, technical diagrams, tables, and so on also look informative on a full-fledged display. I'll give you some examples for clarity.

This is an approximate image of what you will see on your phone screen. when zooming in the image, the essence will not change, you will still see a stripped-down image at the top and bottom.

Let's see what the engineering drawings and tables look like on the Diplomat's display. I'll give you a couple of examples.

I won't give any more examples, it's enough to understand the capabilities of the display.

here are some examples of what the picture looks like when using the device in games.

In the device settings, there will be a quick option to select several image scaling options to fit the device screen.

here are a couple of images in movie viewing mode.

And an approximate image of what you will see on your phone screen. This is a stripped down picture due to the limitations of your phone's screen. the difference is too obvious.

As you understand, you don't need to rotate the device to work with Lotus Diplomat when watching movies, playing games, etc. Your device always remains in the same position because the device's form factor is ideal.

Let's take a look at the Lotus Diplomat keyboard. We'll find many interesting and useful features for practical use.
The Lotus Diplomat control unit and keyboard are a true feat of engineering. Users will appreciate the speed and efficiency of typing with this keyboard, especially when working with large volumes of professional and academic documents. Those whose work involves extensive typing – journalists, bloggers, students, researchers, etc. – will be greatly impressed by how easy it is to use the Lotus Diplomat. You can easily transfer all your experience with a standard desktop keyboard to the Lotus keyboard, and we've even further refined the typing method for even faster typing. Now you can easily type while lying on the couch. Below, we will examine all the advantages of our keyboard in detail.
Let's start with the device control unit and the top row of keys.

Let's consider the Lotus Diplomat keyboard, but first, a little background. We are well acquainted with the BlackBerry device and the Passport keyboard. The main reason for user complaints about the Passport was its absurd square screen and extremely inconvenient keyboard, where you had to switch between physical and touch typing to enter symbols, signs, and numbers. These two main parameters spoiled everything that fans of physical keyboards were used to. The keyboard was unsuitable for fast, familiar typing, and the screen was unsuitable for watching YouTube videos, movies, etc. I haven't forgotten about the lack of software support and the app store... this added insult to injury. One problem on top of another. But those who disliked the current form factors of identical, cookie-cutter phones were happy to get something that was at least different from the rest. I myself was an active Passport user, and I constantly had to put up with the huge number of shortcomings of the Passport, even in simple things. And even despite its shortcomings, it was an interesting and at least somewhat new device among the monotonous devices. I have taken into account all the shortcomings of the Passport and the aspirations of the users.
PERFECTION OF FORM AND FUNCTIONALITY
What is the small display for? Let's say you're playing a game on your device and someone calls you. The call appears on the small screen, allowing you to see who's calling without interrupting your game. You have several options for responding: answer or decline the call using the physical buttons, or use the universal remote control to answer (I'll explain and show you the remote later). Meanwhile, your main screen remains active in the application or program you're using, and it's not cluttered with any notifications. Nothing will distract you from your game at the most crucial moment. You can configure this and much more in the settings menu of the small display.

The small display operates in two modes: 1.- When the device is locked, it functions as an always-on display, showing all useful information such as weather, time, email, etc. 2.- When the device is activated, the small display works in conjunction with the 4-position button - frame, acting as an OK button.

MAIN KEYBOARD BLOCK

So let's take a closer look at the keyboard. This is a full-fledged 5-row keyboard for fast typing of large volumes of text. We've retained almost everything you need from a full-size keyboard and added a 4-position key with a scroll wheel in the bottom row. The very bottom row consists of hotkeys for punctuation marks; they are always active, even if you switch the language from English to Spanish or any other language. You also won't have to change the keyboard layout to insert a particular character or symbol; a simple double-tap is enough to insert an additional symbol. For example, the key with the number 4 contains the additional "$" symbol; now a quick double-tap is enough to insert the additional symbol and continue typing without being distracted by changing the layout or holding down the Shift key to insert a particular character. The quick double-tap system works across the entire keyboard, and you'll appreciate how quickly you can work with the Lotus Diplomat keyboard.
The Lotus Diplomat keyboard and display give you incredible advantages and opportunities in mobile gaming that are unattainable with simple, limited-convenience touchscreen phones.

The Lotus Diplomat was designed as a fully functional, versatile business device, replacing a laptop in most tasks, especially when traveling on business trips to a neighboring city, state, or country. You won't need a large laptop bag on your trips; this is one of the advantages of the Diplomat – it will fit in your pocket without limiting your capabilities. It is so self-sufficient that its capabilities only increase with the installation of the necessary programs and applications. With a full-fledged, wide touchscreen and a full-size keyboard, you will be impressed by its boundless possibilities in both business tasks and entertainment, and the complete customization of the keyboard in conjunction with the small display, tailored to your preferences, will make the Lotus Diplomat irresistible.

The number keys are also used for quickly selecting weapons or other settings.
Additional game control functions can also be transferred to the main navigation unit, if desired.

The game controls are the same as on a full-sized keyboard: Forward - Backward - Right - Left
This is a 4-position key-frame (up - down - right - left) with a scroll wheel in the center. In games, this block is used as a full- fledged mouse, with exactly the same functions as on a PC.

UNIVERSAL REMOTE CONTROL FOR LOTUS DEVICES

Remote control Lotus, provides remote control for various home electronics. Equipped with an IR port (on the top of the device), it transforms into a universal remote control. With a few taps you can change the TV channel, adjust the air conditioner temperature, start the coffee maker, and more. This feature eliminates the need for multiple bulky remote controls and the need to constantly buy batteries. It also serves as a receiving device for incoming calls (accept - reject). In general, in essense, this is an additional compact smart device, slightly larger than a plastic card. At the bottom of the device is a hole for a wrist strap. The device's functionality can be significantly expanded with additional programs or apps. We provide you with a remote control as an additional tull. Its uses are limited to your imagination. It can also be configured as a joystick in games when the device is mounted on the stand. Customizing the remote control to your needs is easy. It's included with all Lotus devices.

Allow me to introduce you to the next device in the Lotus lineup.
Lotus Tablet (pocket)

The Lotus Tablet doesn't have a full keyboard, but we've retained the central control panel with the main keys so that the user still has a hybrid way of controlling the device. Look how beautiful it is.

Considering that the Lotus Diplomat is the flagship of the Lotus line, the Tablet is no less interesting in terms of technology, aimed at users for whom the functionality built into the physical navigation unit is important, but without a keyboard. These hybrid interaction capabilities with Lotus devices allow users to choose convenient work scenarios in various applications and games. But in terms of gaming capabilities, the Lotus Diplomat is unparalleled among phones.

The functionality of the side buttons is identical on both devices.
The voice recorder button has a built-in red LED. Pressing the button activates the red LED's pulsation and starts audio recording; pressing it again stops the recording and turns off the LED. To start recording when the device is locked, you need to hold the button down for 2 seconds, and also hold the button down again for 2 seconds to stop the recording. The voice recorder button is also present on the Diplomat model.

The Lotus project is on Indiegogo and will soon be on Kickstarter. We have redesigned the website to provide more complete information about the Lotus product line. All Lotus devices will be beautiful, powerful, and technologically interesting. We are currently working on the Lotus Watch; information will be available on the website soon. Our project needs investors; any help you can provide, even the smallest amount, will allow us to launch the production of Lotus devices faster. Active investors will receive the first batches of devices. We are moving step by step towards the full implementation of the Lotus project. Join the Lotus team, become an active investor, or support the project with even a small amount – it's a great help to us. We are grateful for any support. Follow the news on our website; it will be updated regularly. Sincerely, developer D. Sattarov.

I know that you, like me, are among those who watch the presentation of yet another bland, clunky, and uninteresting phone with great sadness and nostalgia for the old days. We are not afraid to challenge the status quo. We don't follow imposed trends. All Lotus devices, both now and in the future, will be beautiful and technologically interesting solutions, so that when you buy a Lotus device, you experience the same feelings you did 20 years ago.
